Work with us at lilbitWhat do we stand for?

We believe that diverse minds provide diverse solutions, and only by embracing different perspectives, we can achieve new heights. Our team consists of experienced, open minden leaders- and a young and creative staff- all eager to learn and expand both themselves and the business. We want a workplace that works for the employees, and we do that by embracing these core values:

  • Be proactive, humble, and honest.
  • Create fun, be different and engaging.
  • Seek knowledge and growth.
  • Love the consumer.

If you share these values and have a passion for cats, dogs and innovative technology and design, we would love to hear from you!

As a part of the diverse lilbit team, you will be working in sprints of two weeks. Many of us choose to work from home while making daily appearances on discord. The sprint teams have a flat structure, where we emphasise knowledge and growth by sharing information across our fields of expertise. This approach helps us develop T-shaped abilities among our whole crew.

We have a culture for meeting face to face, even if we work from home. We find that to be an essential part of our daily routine. We often meet for lunch or play Battlegrounds and Among Us, from wherever we are located.

Inspired by Tony Schei, the founder of Zappos, who, instead of teaching his employees to smile, only hire people that already smile– we do job interviews in two different stages. Stage one will emphasise the theoretical part of the job with people in the same field as you. In the second stage, you will meet with our leaders and representatives from the developer teams. From there, we will get to know each other better through culture.

A typical week at lilbit

We always start our day with a morning meeting which includes sprint planning in Scrum. Here we choose our daily tasks, either among co-workers in our new office in Trondheim or, if we choose to work from home, we can join the meeting through video on discord. Around lunch and towards the end of the day, we have another meeting; here, we update each other on today’s progress. In addition, we often have workshops on planning our next steps as a business while making sure everyone is on the same page. We also find it essential to arrange social gatherings outside work hours to focus on fellowship and team bonding.
