Lilbit makes Norwegian crowdfunding record - aims towards stock market!

When Lilbit launched its crowd-funding campaign the goal was to reach 10 million NOK. By the end of it, 28 million NOK had been funded! In the months after the campaign, the company has put all their resources into further developing their product and the company.

In correlation to the successful campaign, Lilbit gained a lot of attention from the Norwegian media. Finansavisen, Midtnorsk Næringsliv and ITavisen were among the publishers.

Ensures production

- The purpose of the campaign was to ensure we have enough capital to produce the first ten thousand units. This step is essential for us to keep growing as a company, Sæthre explains.

In the months since the campaign, we have directed our resources towards completing the device to the point where it is ready to begin testing. Before we produce the first thousand units and give them to eager testers, we will test the device ourselves internally in the company.

When we eventually localise and solve the most prominent glitches and errors, we will let our future users try it out and give us feedback. Before the trial period is over we will also begin presales.
